No one can resist Lucille Bluth
We collectively mourned the loss of Jessica Walter, who died at age 80 in her New York City home on March 25. Although the award-winning actress' career spanned many years—from Broadway stints to a role in Clint Eastwood's Play Misty for Me in 1971—she is arguably best known as the eccentric Lucille Bluth in the cult favorite, Arrested Development.
The comedy follows a son who is forced to take over his father's real estate business when the patriarch of the family is sent off to jail. This is a side of the O.C. we can't resist.
The series is the perfect thing to marathon when you're looking for something fun and lighthearted, as Walter's character proves. As the show's creator, Mitch Hurwitz, told Variety, she was "the best kind of comic actor."
